In order to rank teams on this site, we use a points system that we have created.

When you win a match, you can get anywhere from 25 to 35 points and when you lose a match, you lose anywhere from 10 to 20 points. The reason the the range for winning is higher than the range for losing is so if you have a 1-1 or 2-2 record, you still keep a positive score.

The points range should stay around the same, but we plan on adding in multiple factors for determining the points.

Some of these factors will include the rank of the team you are playing, your rank, the total wins and losses of your team and the opposing team, and more.

These factors will be added in as we are updating the algorithm for determining points.

I hope this helps you all understand why we don't use a basic 1 point gain per win and 1 point loss per loss.
